NBA fans noticed that Steph Curry played with a leg injury in Team USA's 92-88 win over Germany in their final showcase game. Curry struggled from the field the entire game and the bloody leg might be the main reason for it. Nevertheless, the Golden State Warriors star still played 25 minutes against the reigning World Champions in London, England.

Curry finished the game with 13 points, three rebounds and three assists, while shooting 5-for-13 from the floor. He also went 1-for-7 from beyond the arc, but it didn't matter. LeBron James scored 11 straight points for Team USA in the final four minutes to get the victory.

James, who was nominated by Curry to be the United States flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the Olympics, showed why he might just still be the best player in Team USA. He carried the team to his back to remain unbeaten in their five showcase games ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.

However, NBA fans were more concerned with Steph Curry's bloody leg. It's unclear how Curry ended up with a wound on his right upper leg, but it could be from the physicality of the game. Others had some funny responses as to what happened to the first-time Olympian.

"Must've fought off a grizzly bear or something," one fan wrote.
"Curry got doubled nearly the whole game," a fan claimed.

"Fought off a tiger and then played in a basketball game. This is the toughest player we’ve ever seen in human history," another fan tweeted.

It's not the first bloody injury suffered this month since he also got his hands all red during Team USA's scrimmage against the Select Team. That was a minor injury so fans should not be worried since Steph Curry was able to finish the game.

"Germany got away with a lot today," a fan posted.
"I hope he is ok," another fan commented.
"Damn. Lacob might tell him to sit down now," one fan remarked.

Steph Curry nominated LeBron James to be the USA flag bearer at the Olympics

As announced by USA Basketball, LeBron James will join Dawn Staley and Sue Bird as the only basketball players to carry the American flag in the opening ceremony of the Olympics. James will be the first men's basketball player to get the honor as well.

One of the reasons why "King James" got the distinction is due to Steph Curry, who nominated him to become the flag bearer. Curry pointed out that the LA Lakers star is already in his fourth Olympics and has done a lot of things off the court.

"He started back in 2004 representing Team USA as an Olympic athlete and now in 2024, going for his fourth Olympic medal. His NBA career speaks for itself. But I think more than that, since 2004, he's represented what it means to be excellent, both on and off the court and his commitment to service and to uplifting the community in all ways that he knows how. It has been a life long passion, and the work speaks for itself," Curry said.
