LeBron James' son Bronny James made his NBA preseason debut on Friday during the Los Angeles Lakers' 124-107 loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California. Coming off the bench in the second quarter, Bronny quickly made his presence felt with an immediate impact on the defensive end.
With 11:15 left in the second quarter, Bronny showcased his agility and hustle by sprinting back on defense to pull off a chase-down block on Nickeil Alexander-Walker after turning the ball over on the other side. Despite his impressive effort, it was in vain as a Grizzlies player grabbed the offensive rebound and scored an easy layup.

Lakers fans were excited by Bronny's defensive play and reacted to his effort, with a few fans candidly bringing LeBron James into the discussion.

Bronny James vs Minnesota Timberwolves
In his NBA preseason debut, Bronny James faced challenges on the offensive end. However, the rookie didn’t allow his offensive struggles to disrupt his defensive focus.
In addition to his chase-down block, the 19-year-old recorded two more blocks and remained highly engaged on the defensive side of the court.
Bronny's only made basket came during garbage time, with less than a minute left in the game. The former USC guard made a smooth move from the left side, dribbling into the paint to finish with a layup.
Bronny finished the game with two points, one rebound, one assist, three blocks, and one turnover. The rookie shot 1-of-6 from the field, including 0-of-1 from three-point range.
