Kawhi Leonard is among the thousands affected by wildfires in the Los Angeles area, however, his property has reportedly remained unscathed. The wildfires have been raging throughout the week and don't show any signs of stopping anytime soon.
Fans took to X to discuss Kawhi Leonard's Palisades home, which he purchased for a reported $17.1 million in early 2023, being virtually untouched. Many suggested that his defensive skills go beyond the court.
"Truly is my G.O.A.T Defender," one fan said.

Other members of the NBA family were not as fortunate as Kawhi Leonard as Lakers head coach JJ Redick has reportedly lost his home to the wildfires. On Thursday, ESPN insider Shams Charania reported Redick's situation:

The wildfires have taken a toll on the community and the NBA is feeling it too. Kawhi Leonard will now be out indefinity to attend to his family, which comes after making his season debut earlier this week.
The NBA postponed the LA Lakers-Charlotte Hornets game on Jan. 9 and are yet to decide on a future date. Shams Charania reported:
"The NBA is postponing Lakers-Hornets game tonight at Crypto Arena due to raging wildfires across the Los Angeles area, sources tell ESPN."
Meanwhile, the LA Clippers are scheduled to play the Hornets on January 11. However, the effects of the wildfires will doubtless be in the minds of the players on the court if the fixture goes ahead.
