"My talented king": Steph Curry's wife Ayesha Curry in awe of Warriors star's first golf swing

Steph Curry is arguably the most talented golfer in the NBA community, and the only competition he might get is from Michael Jordan. However, unlike Jordan, the Golden State Warriors star has his eyes set on becoming a pro golfer after he retires from basketball.

Be it his preparation for exploits on the basketball court or his plans after retirement, Curry's wife, Ayesha Curry, has been the perfect partner to the four-time NBA champion.

Curry posted a video of him taking the first swing by the newly released Callaway Elyte driver.

As usual, the post was flooded with comments from his fans and followers, but one that stood out was from his wife, Ayesha. The Warriors star's wife posted a loved-up comment for her husband.

"My talented king 🤪," Ayesha commented.

In July 2023, in conversation with Sports Illustrated‘s Robin Lundberg, Steph Curry expressed his desire to pursue a professional career in golf. While Curry admitted that achieving that position would be tough, he still believed he could make it.

Steph Curry is among the few NBA players who enjoy superstar status. He is well-known inside and outside of America and is one of the most desirable men in the world.

While being the wife of a superstar of his caliber has its perks, it also brings a sense of anxiety for Ayesha, which is a multitude in nature. In a May 2019 interview with Jada Pinkett Smith on Red Table Talk, on the episode "First Ladies of the NBA," Ayesha Curry opened up about watching her husband get attention from women.

She also added that watching her husband receive so much attention from women makes her anxious and even makes her doubt herself.

"Something that really bothers me and has honestly has given me a sense of a little bit insecurity is the fact that, yeah, there are all these women throwing themselves at [Stephen Curry], but me, the past 10 years I don't have any of that. I have zero male attention," Ayesha said.

"And then I begin to internalize it. And then I begin [to wonder] is there something wrong with me?" she admitted.

Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry have been together since 2008. They have been married for 13 years since they tied the knot on June 30, 2011. The Warriors superstar has been an absolute family man throughout his relationship.

The couple shares four children, with their latest addition to the family arriving last year. They welcomed their son, Caius Chai, in May 2024.
