Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers did not have a great end to their playoff run last season. The Dallas Mavericks eliminated them in the first round, shocking a lot of fans who thought the Clippers were a solid contender to at least make it to the conference finals.
Leonard was injured and sidelined from any postseason action. His absence hurt the Clippers, as the team's offense was built around the two-time NBA champion pushing through the defensive lines and cutting inside from the wings. As the offseason rolled in, speculation about a Kawhi trade started to pop up and Russell Westbrook was now seen liking a post suggesting the same.
The NBA fans dropped into the comments section to express their opinion on Leonard's teammate liking a post that suggested the former Raptors star's trade.

"Nasty work from a guy who went on a 4/37 shooting streak in his last post season."
"Ain’t no way bro liked that post," @KiddKwayo said.
"Wow. Petty from Westbrook. He had plenty of opportunities to step up when we needed him this last playoff run. Numbers don’t lie."
While many fans expressed their surprise at Westbrook's action and flamed him, others flamed Kendrick Perkins who was the original inhibitor of the Kawhi trade narrative.
"Kendrick Perkins is the media and the media just does not like the Clippers because they don't pay them. Kawhi is a baller and a killer on the court because when he gets hurt no one even knows he gets hurt until after the game. Clipper fans don't be listening to the media," @axclip88 said.
"Perk eats the fat and gristle on chicken and ribs," @Granth3f said.
"KP is the worst NBA analyst I’ve ever known!" @AjBontilao said.
After veteran guard Paul George left the franchise early this offseason, there was a possibility that they could trade Kawhi Leonard. The fans can only wait and see what the Clippers have decided.
Team USA snubs Kawhi Leonard from the 2024 Paris Olympics
Kawhi Leonard will not be participating in the Paris Olympics with Team USA. After attending three practices with the team, the Clippers star was released.
Clippers president Lawrence Frank was not happy with the decision.
"It was (Team USA's) call, and I was quite frankly very disappointed with the decision ... Kawhi wanted to play, we wanted him to play," Frank said in a press conference.
Kawhi Leonard has not had any significant success with the national team. It was his best opportunity to get some international glory on his resume, however, it looks like he'll have to wait a bit longer for that.
