NBA 2K24 dribble move requirements: Complete guide to upgrading your ball handling game

NBA 2K24, like previous NBA 2K games, features a number of requirements players must hit before they can use their favorite player's dribble move packages. For example, a 7-foot center with a 40-speed with ball rating would be unable to hit the court and perform moves like Kyrie Irving. For those willing to put the attributes into their dribbling, however, the opportunities are endless.

In addition to the restrictions on players' dribble move packages based on their speed with ball rating, there are also requirements for height. Using the example from above of a 7-foot center, the player in question wouldn't be able to learn Steph Curry's moves for instance.

After making your MyPlayer and starting your MyCareer, players will be able to earn 'VC' (Virtual Currency) and upgrade their players. Regardless of whether players have created a big man or a guard, they will have the options of the 'basic' and 'pro' dribble move styles.
