The Golden State Warriors got off to a strong start to the season, but they haven't been able to keep that momentum going.

They've lost six of their last ten games, falling to an 18-18 record and the ninth spot in the Western Conference. On top of that, star Steph Curry hasn't looked like his usual self this season, struggling with a nagging knee injury and failing to put the team on his shoulders night in and night out.

That's why NBA insider Sam Amick believes he might not even make the All-Star Game this season.

"We could be looking at the idea that (Steph Curry's) gonna maybe have a hard time getting on that All-Star roster even though the game is in San Francisco," Amick said on FanDuel TV's "Run It Back."

So far, Curry has averaged roughly under 23 points and six assists per game on 45% from the floor, and while those numbers aren't bad, he hasn't been as explosive as he was in the past.

Steve Kerr admits Steph Curry is struggling with the losses

Steph Curry hasn't shied away from having uncomfortable conversations this season. He's openly talked about his team's shortcomings, and he's clearly not having a good time right now.

The Golden State Warriors dropped two games in a row, both by a margin, and Curry's body language said everything that needed to be said.

Following their lopsided defeat to the Miami Heat, coach Steve Kerr admitted that his superstar point guard was struggling to cope with all the losing.

“I can see it with Steph. He’s continued to be brilliant night after night, but at his core, he’s a winner. He’s a champion. Likewise, he wants to compete at the highest level,” Kerr said. “He is really struggling with the emotion of not being competitive right now. He probably hasn’t had to deal with this since his first couple of years in the league."

The Warriors are currently a play-in team, but with the San Antonio Spurs and maybe the Phoenix Suns or Sacramento Kings creeping in, some believe that they might not even have a chance to make the playoffs this season.

It's still early in the year, and the Warriors are expected to be very aggressive to get another star before the Feb. 6 trade deadline.
