The feud between Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley seems to have made a surprising return. Fans were left stunned after Westbrook hit the "rock-a-bye baby" celebration after scoring on Beverley on the first play of the game between the LA Clippers and Chicago Bulls.
The rivalry between Westbrook and Beverley has been well-documented. The feud dates back to Brodie's days with the OKC Thunder. During a rather intense game against the Houston Rockets, Beverley committed an aggressive challenge which resulted in an injury for Westbrook.
Since then, the two have gone at each other in every way possible. Things seemed to have changed when the two became teammates with the LA Lakers earlier this season. Beverley even referred to Russ as his best friend on the roster when he came on board. This seemed like the ideal situation for them to bury the hatchet.
However, after being traded from the Purple and Gold, the two seem to be back at it again. Playing against each other for the first time this season, Russ was quick to re-ignite the feud between the two.

Westbrook also earned a foul call in the process of scoring the first points for the Clippers. Unfortunately, for him, he missed the free throw.
Russell Westbrook settling in with the LA Clippers
Russell Westbrook didn't have the best run with the Lakers. However, the nine-time All-Star seems to be finding his feet at the LA Clippers after being bought out by the Utah Jazz.
Westbrook's move to the Clippers was greeted with moderate enthusiasm. Considering that the Clippers were planning to replace John Wall with Brodie, the team had some ideas in mind.
Russ had a tough time assimilating with the team early on and they went on a five-game losing streak after his arrival.
However, given that the Clippers have gone 6-3 since then, they appear to be in a good place.
With Paul George out of action, Westbrook has stepped up to the plate and delivered consistently. This is a great sign for the Clippers heading into the playoffs.
