NBA fans react to hilarious Bronny James meme comparing him to 'reborn' legends: "I hate it here"

Being the son of one of the most popular basketball players in the world warrants strong coverage for the media, which is the case for Bronny James. He made the Summer League debut last night. However, it didn't last long until several fans mocked LeBron James' son for his performance as X user NBA Memes (@NBAMemes) uploaded an image of his player comparison.

Due to his father's reputation in the league, it comes as no surprise that the young guard is experiencing this kind of reception. Comparisons were bound to happen as he has been aligned with immense expectations to deliver amid all the pressure surrounding him.

Featured in the meme picture were other NBA Hall of Famers and their star comparisons. However, this wasn't the case for Bronny James, who was aligned alongside Milwaukee Bucks forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo.

In response to the meme, numerous NBA fans shared their hilarious reactions.

Bronny James talked about his Summer League debut

Following the Lakers' 108-94 loss to the Sacramento Kings during the Califonia Classic Summer League matchup on Saturday, Bronny James shared what stood out to him the most in his debut, as per Fan Nation's Alex Kirschenbaum.

"Maybe the atmosphere," James said (via Jovan Buha). "It was more than I expected. I mean, it's a big game for me, but I didn't know if people from Golden State would come and rep for me. So that was pretty nice to see."

It remains an incredible feeling for NBA rookies to play in their first Summer League game as they have finally started their journey in the big league. For someone like Bronny, it was unlike anything he could have ever envisioned.
