LeBron James and his son Bronny are fresh off making history last Sunday when they shared the court against the Suns in a 118-14 preseason loss.

With several reactions from NBA fans circulating around social media, James' old X post resurfaced where he claimed that his son is already miles ahead of some players in the league.

It was a post put out on March 6, before Bronny James made his debut with the USC Trojans. He was considered a high draft pick at the time for the 2024 class before his unfortunate cardiac arrest incident, considering the tremendous upside to his game.

The Lakers star's old post was reposted by user Israel (@iohandles), resulting in several fan reactions.

LeBron James talked about what it was like to play alongside son on the court

LeBron James and Bronny James shared four minutes on the court during the second quarter, making history as the first father-and-son duo to do it. Following their outing together, the four-time champion shared the rewarding feeling of the experience, as per CNN's Jacob Lev.

"For someone who didn't have a dad growing up, to be able to have that influence on your kids," James said, "then ultimately, to be able to work with your son, I think it's one of the greatest things that a father could ever hope for or wish for."

With an illustrious career such as the one James has, being in a position to play alongside his eldest son is an experience he has long waited for. It has finally come to fruition and it is everything he has hoped for.

The Lakers enter this season with a lot of new faces on the roster and a new head coach in JJ Redick looking to instill a much-needed culture change. Last season, the team finished as the seventh seed in the Western Conference standings with a 47-35 record.
