With James recovering from his foot injury, ESPN's Jay Williams questioned how the Lakers would be able to reintegrate the NBA's all-time scoring king:

"How do you bring back LeBron? Like, the more I sit there and think about it, the more I think about ... when you bring back LeBron, in a short period, how in the hell is Austin Reaves supposed to continue to play at this level?

"The ball is in Austin Reaves' hands a ton. You guys know the kind of ladder, the kind of rhythm you get when the ball's in your hand? You increase the amount of possessions, the volume of possessions ... 'I feel way more confident with the rock now.' When LeBron comes back and Austin Reaves has been balling, Dlo's (D'Angelo Russell) been balling right?

On Sunday, the LA Lakers defeated the Orlando Magic 111-105. The biggest headline was Austin Reaves scoring a career-high 35 points on 9-for-14 shooting.

He followed it up with a double-double statline of 25 points (6-for-10 shooting) and 11 assists with only two turnovers in Wednesday's 122-111 win over the Phoenix Suns (38-34).

With two straight quality outputs from Reaves, Lakers fans and the media have found his development promising.

It will be interesting to see how the LeBron James and Austin Reaves dynamic will pan out once James comes back.

The Lakers (36-37) are 10th in the Western Conference after winning two straight games and 10 of their past 15 games (7-5 with James sidelined).
