Most fan reactions to LeBron James’ tweet were just straight-up harsh. Many called James childish and said he was making excuses.

“LOL, you Warrior you. Let's see how this next month treats you...Warriors don't make excuses and Kings don't need other Kings to win Championships. Just go win with your talents you brought with you from South Beach,” one fan said.
“Good god man, grow up,” another fan said.

Many also called out James for his inability to lead the Lakers to success.

“Ever consider winning a real ring?” One fan said:
“Thought he was going to let history repeat itself. Absolutely not,” another fan said as they shared James’ past promise to never miss the playoffs again.

One fan also made reference to the long-running joke that James only read the first pages of the book.

“Which first page of the book is this?” the fan joked.
