NBA fans blasted LA Lakers coach JJ Redick after he fell behind ex-coach Darvin Ham in the first 22-game record. The team has a poor 2-6 record in the last eight games, right after a 6-0 stretch. Fans on NBA Reddit blamed Redick and his immaturity as a coach.

Under Redick, the Lakers have a 12-10 record, compared to Darvin Ham's 13-9. Moreover, their losses in the last two games have the largest total point-loss differential.

Pointing out the embarrassing losses, some fans wrote that the Lakers' point differential in losses will continue to increase.

"And their losses get worse and worse, by my calculations they will lose the next game by 95 points. And then in a week, a 300 point loss," a fan wrote.
"That's why we call him JJ Reddit," a fan wrote.

A fan wrote that while Darvin Ham was one of the problems with the team, he wasn't the only problem with the team.

Lakers coach JJ Redick blasts his team for lack of fight and professionalism in a loss to the Heat

After the Lakers' embarrassing 134-93 loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday, Lakers coach JJ Redick blasted his team for not wanting to take ownership of the court.

"There has to be some ownership," Redick said. "When a group is not performing well ... you can splinter and it's easy to not want the ownership, particularly when it's embarrassing. I'm embarrassed, we're all embarrassed. It's not a game that I thought we had the right fight, the right professionalism.
I am not sure what was lost in translation. There has to be some ownership on the court. And I'll take all the ownership in the world. This is my team and I lead it. I'm embarrassed, but I can't physically get us organized ... I'm not blaming players. I own this ... but we need some ownership on the court as well. There's not a sense from me that we're together right now."

This is the worst two-game stretch the Lakers have gone through in franchise history. They have lost by a total of 70 points in the last two games. The 29-point loss came against the Minnesota Timberwolves and the 41-point loss against the Heat.

The Purple & Gold are struggling on both ends of the floor. In the last five games, they are 27th in offensive rating, 22nd in defensive rating and 27th in net rating.
