NBA fans on Reddit turned against Steve Kerr for blaming the referees after the Golden State Warriors lost 91-90 to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. ESPN reporter Ohm Youngmisuk posted under the NBA subreddit and reported about Kerr's statements after the game.

The Warriors coach criticized the referees for the controversial foul call late in the game which turned the tide in favor of the Rockets.

"I’ve never seen a loose ball foul 80 feet from the basket," Kerr said. "That is unconscionable. I don’t even know what just happened. ... call a loose ball foul with guys diving on the floor? I am stunned."

However, fans did not agree with him in the comments section.

"They really are a bunch of entitled whiners and it comes from Kerr. S**t calls happen to every team every day," one fan wrote.

Other fans joined in and expressed similar sentiments in the comments section.

"It was a bizarre call for sure but Kerr should explain how the Warriors were up 6 with 2 min to go and proceeded to not score once but turn over the ball 4 times. This loss isn't on the refs like Kerr makes it out to be," a fan said.
"The funniest part was when he said he needed to save the challenge...for the remaining 3.5 seconds!! Dude straight up forgot to challenge then gets all indignant at the refs! That's why you have challenges, for calls like that!!" another fan said.
"The dubs have dogwalked every team in the association for a decade so makes sense," another fan wrote.

Another fan highlighted that Kerr might have made an enemy for himself.

"I thought Ime and FVV made enemies with the refs…" one fan wrote.
"i looooove the steve kerr meltdown that happens every time they don't get 50 calls in a row at the end of a game," another fan said.

The Warriors are going through a rough patch after starting the season strong. They are 14-10 and fifth in the Western Conference standings.

The controversial foul call behind Steve Kerr's complaints against the referees on Wednesday night

The Houston Rockets hosted the Golden State Warriors for the quarterfinals of the Emirates NBA Cup which had a controversial ending. The teams were evenly matched for the entirety of the game as they put on a great show for the fans in attendance.

The Dubs were up by one point with 13 seconds left. Steph Curry shot the ball from downtown with 10 seconds remaining but he missed and players went after the loose ball.

Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga were both on the floor; however, the referee called a foul on Kuminga for pulling the Rockets star's shoulder and gave Green two free throws. Green converted both and secured the one-point win.

Steve Kerr was left stunned and he lashed out at the refs in the postgame conference.
