As the NBA trade deadline nears, Bradley Beal has been one of the most talked about players in the league. Recent developments suggest he might be willing to help the Phoenix Suns make a massive upgrade in the coming weeks.

Despite having a trio of All-Stars on their roster already, the Suns have found themselves front and center in rumors for weeks. Since requesting a trade from the Miami Heat, Phoenix has been the primary team linked to Jimmy Butler.

For the Suns to land Butler, they'd have to part ways with Bradley Beal. This creates a roadblock, as the 3x All-Star guard has a no-trade clause in his contract. Beal hasn't seemed willing to waive the clause but might be going through a change of heart.

NBA insider Fred Katz reported on Tuesday that Beal might waive the no-trade clause for the right destination. However, he also cited that the star guard won't propose it himself. Instead, the team will have to approach him about a trade.

"The Suns are making calls about the two veterans they just moved to the bench, though they have yet to ask Beal for his thoughts about any potential trade, team sources said.
He would consider waiving his no-trade clause for the right destination, according to a source familiar with his thinking...He has told people close to him that if the Suns never ask him to waive the no-trade clause to facilitate a deal, then he won’t propose it on his own."

Beal, who the Suns recently moved to the bench, is averaging 17.1 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season.

Milwaukee Bucks reported to have interest in acquiring Bradley Beal

With NBA contracts being higher than ever before, star trades always end up being multi-team deals. This will likely be the case if Jimmy Butler is dealt, mainly to find a desired landing spot for Bradley Beal.

While the no-trade clause is still a major factor, some rumors have trickled out regarding teams interested in Beal. Over the weekend, insider Marc Stein cited the Milwaukee Bucks as someone who could enter the mix to try and acquire the three-time All-Star.

The Bucks came out of the gates slow, but turned things around in a big way. Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, Milwaukee is fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 24-17 record. Bringing in a player like Bradley Beal would give them added firepower to compete with teams like the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.

It's also worth noting that Beal has been on Milwaukee's radar for some time now. Before they traded for Lillard, they inquired about Beal when the Washington Wizards were looking to move him.
