Bradley Beal is one of the most talked-about trade prospects as the Feb. 6 trade deadline approaches. The biggest question surrounding Beal is whether he will waive his no-trade clause and make himself available to teams interested in making a deal with the Phoenix Suns.
This week, multiple reports have emerged about the Suns guard doing away with the no-trade provision for certain teams. On Wednesday, Beal's agent Mark Bartelstein squashed these rumors in an interview with Duane Rankin of Arizona Republic:
"Bartelstein said, ‘The reports that are out there are created out of thin air,’ that Beal would lift his no-trade clause if Milwaukee, Denver, Miami or the Los Angeles Lakers were trade destinations," wrote Rankin.

Rankin added that, as per Bartelstein, Beal's priority is contributing to his present team, rather than considering options for his next destination:
"Brad’s entire focus has been and is on getting healthy with his ankle and helping turn things around for the Suns," Rankin quoted Bartelstein as saying.
Since being relegated to a bench role by the Suns earlier this month, Bradley Beal has averaged 14.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 4.0 assists. During this span, Beal showed glimpses of his old explosive self, going off for 25 points twice.
It remains to be seen, though, whether some drastic development will cause Beal to forgo his no-trade clause and head elsewhere. For now, his steady contributions are needed by the Suns as they aim to move up the Western Conference standings.
Will the Phoenix Suns make a play for Jimmy Butler amid the Bradley Beal situation?
The Suns happen to be involved in another major story of the 2025 trade deadline: the Jimmy Butler-Miami Heat situation.
On the Jan. 19 episode of "The Hoop Collective," ESPN's Brian Windhorst said in no uncertain terms that Butler is keen on getting traded to Phoenix:
"Jimmy's number one focus is getting traded, preferably to the Phoenix Suns," Windhorst said on the podcast. [36:05]
Despite the Heat forward's subpar production over the past few games, Phoenix will have to pay a hefty price to get their hands on Butler. Whether or not Beal gets involved as a trade piece will, of course, depend on what Bradley Beal sees fit for his future.
