While the Golden State Warriors have emerged in NBA trade rumors, Draymond Green isn't often a player mentioned. However, one analyst recently put together a blockbuster trade that would see the former all-star on the move.

During Thursday's episode of his podcast, Bill Simmons had on Kevin O'Connor to discuss a series of hypothetical trades. Most of them were run-of-the-mill, but the longtime NBA journalist proposed a massive blockbuster.

In his hypothetical trade, Green would team up with James on the LA Lakers and Golden State parts with multiple players and draft picks to bring in Anthony Davis. While breaking down this hypothetical, Simmons made it clear that he doesn't see something like this happening.

The fit of Green and James could be considered questionable, but the two high-IQ players would likely find a way to coexist on the floor together. On the other side of things, Steph Curry lands a new running mate in the form of the Lakers' $62 million center (per Spotrac).

Despite being in the later stages of his career, Green is still a productive do-it-all forward. This season, he is averaging 8.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

Lou Williams opens up on Draymond Green being tradeable for the Golden State Warriors

Over the past year, the Warriors have been connected to several stars. It was LeBron James at last year's deadline, followed by Paul George and Lauri Markkanen over the summer. As they continue to seek upgrades, one former player touched on the idea of Draymond Green being moved.

Green has been a key piece to the Warriors' dynasty, but the franchise could head in a new direction. They made a shocking move in the offseason with Klay Thompson, completing a sign-and-trade with the Dallas Mavericks. While on FanDuel TV's "Run It Back" podcast on Dec. 31, Lou Williams confidently said he feels Green understands he could be traded.

"He's a very realistic pro," Williams said. "That's what I've loved about Draymond Green. He's always been realistic with expectations and what's expected of them as a team."

Given the caliber of players they've been linked to in the past year, the Warriors could be eyeing a big splash. They know Steph Curry doesn't have much time left and likely wants to capitalize on his window.

As one of the higher-paid players on the team, Green could be moved in a blockbuster trade. He has the third-highest salary on the Warriors' roster, with only Curry and Andrew Wiggins earning more than him. Green has two years left on his contract at around $25 million annually, with the final season being a player option.

However, with roughly two weeks to go until the deadline, there have been no reports of the Warriors showing a willingness to trade Green.
