The Steph Curry-led Golden State Warriors entering a new era with a new superstar could be imminent. The front office has taken a patient approach with the current core, developing players internally and waiting on the next big star who could help them sustain their title contender status for the long run.
One of the names that could hit the market soon is Pheonix Suns' superstar Devin Booker. With the Suns not able to maximize their potential with a lineup of Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Booker, they are widely predicted to break the team up and recoup assets before it's too late.
That makes Booker's departure imminent, especially with him turning 29 in October this year and entering his true prime. As per oddsmakers, the Steph Curry-led Warriors are among the favorites to acquire Booker should he leave the Suns. They have +950 odds to land him, the third-best across a five-team list.
The Houston Rockets are the favorites with -200 odds, followed by San Antonio Spurs at +250. The Atlanta Hawks are tied with the Warriors for third (+950), and the Detroit Pistons are (+1500) (odds by Bovada Official).

NBA Trade Rumors: Steve Kerr is a fan of Devin Booker's game after successful Team USA pairing with Steph Curry
Steve Kerr, Steph Curry and Devin Booker were all part of Team USA during the 2024 Paris Olympics. Booker started alongside Curry in the backcourt every game. He was one of the players that left an impressionable mark on Steve Kerr.
Booker sacrificed his shots the most and provided the two-way punch the USA needed in the backcourt alongside Curry while causing defense problems with his gravity as a scorer.
Kerr hailed Booker as the "unsung MVP" of the campaign.
"Devin Booker is an incredible basketball player. Nobody asked about him," Kerr told Ben Golliver of the Washington Post. "He was our unsung MVP. I just wanted to say that."
Booker seemingly accepted the "role player" duties on a team with LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry to ensure Team USA was in sync and balanced.
