The New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers will lock horns on Wednesday's national TV slate. It's their second meeting of the year. The Knicks won handsomely during their Nov. 12 matchup by a 111-99 margin. OG Anunoby led the collective effort with 24 points, while the other four starters and Miles McBride off the bench also scored in double digits.

It was Joel Embiid's first game of the season, and the Knicks ensured they didn't allow the 2023 MVP to have a successful comeback, limiting him to 13 points on 2 of 11 shots. Two months later, the Knicks remain the favorites in this matchup. Entering this clash with a 26-15 record compared to the Sixers' 15-23 run, the Knicks are in the driver's seat.

However, they have had some momentum issues over their past seven games. The Knicks won just twice in that span and are coming off a 118-102 loss against the Detroit Pistons. The 76ers, meanwhile, could have a healthy roster after resting most of their main rotation players in Tuesday's clash against the OKC Thunder.

New York Knicks injury report: Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson among injured players

The New York Knicks have a slightly worrisome injury report ahead of Wednesday's marquee clash against the Philadelphia 76ers. Stars Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns are among the injured players. Brunson is probable with right shoulder soreness but is likely to play.

On the other hand, Towns is questionable with a right thumb sprain he sustained last game and is 50-50 to suit up. There will be more clarity on his availability closer to the game. His backup, Jericho Sims, is also questionable. Sims has lower back spasms.

Mitchell Robinson is the other injured player on the list. Yet to make his season debut, Robinson is out recovering from left ankle surgery. He could return soon, around the early February mark.
