The New York Knicks will look to get back to winning ways when they return home to take on the Orlando Magic on Monday. It's a tricky matchup as the shorthanded Magic have been unfazed in facing healthier teams without their best players, Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero.

They have also been without several other key rotation players. Orlando has stayed afloat at 21-16 despite the thin roster. The Knicks, meanwhile, have hit a mini-slump with back-to-back losses on Friday and Saturday against the OKC Thunder and Chicago Bulls, respectively.

New York was on a nine-game winning streak before that. The star-studded Knicks have seemingly clicked in that stretch but with consecutive losses, their mettle as a group will be tested. The only issue they might face on that front is potentially missing some of their marquee players against the Bulls.

New York Knicks injury report: Karl-Anthony Towns iffy to play, and Jalen Brunson injured too

The Knicks have four players, including expected absentee Mitchell Robinson, who is yet to make his season debut. Robinson is recovering from left ankle surgery. Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jalen Brunson and Miles McBride are among the regular rotation players on the injury list.

Towns and McBride are both questionable. However Towns is ruled out from the game as he is dealing with right knee patellar tendinopathy. He left Saturday's contest against the Bulls late in the fourth quarter, presumably because of this ailment. Towns had 44 points and 16 rebounds in that contest. He played 37 minutes before exiting the game.

Meanwhile, McBride has a left hamstring strain. He hasn't played the past three games and could return, as he and Towns will both be game-time decisions.

However, Jalen Brunson is available to play after carrying a probable status into Monday's game, citing right calf tightness.
