Fresh off winning a championship, Jayson Tatum will be spending his summer competing for Team USA in the Olympics. After being seen with a new look, some fans have started to have a change of heart for the young NBA superstar.

As the Boston Celtics made their run at the title, Tatum was mocked by fans for trying too hard to create viral moments. This carried on through their celebrations, as some felt he was trying to put his own spin on things other stars have done in the past.

With last season behind everyone, Jayson Tatum is looking ahead to his next challenge. That being, leading Team USA to a gold medal in the 2024 Summer Olympics. When he arrived for his first day of training camp over the weekend, he was sporting a new haircut.

"Ngl he got his aura back," a fan said.
"He feelin like he top 5 now😂 might start for team USA tbh," another fan chimed in.
"AURA." A user commented.

Other fans were excited to see Tatum go back to a look they were accustomed to seeing earlier in his career.

"Rookie Tatum back," one fan said.
"OMG BUZZCUT JT IS BACK," another fan said.
"2021 TATUM IS BACK I CAN’T BELIEVE MY EYES," said one fan.

Tatum is one of the many NBA superstars suiting up for Team USA this summer. Other notable players include LeBron James, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant.

Jayson Tatum sends message ahead of 2024 Summer Olympics

Jayson Tatum had a bit of a late start arriving at Team USA camp due to personal reasons. However, he sent a positive message to fans upon his arrival.

While making his entrance into training camp, the recent NBA champion did a brief interview for social media:

"Happy to be here. Ready for the Olympics, ready for camp, ready to be a part of the team. Finally glad to be here."

Playing in international competition is nothing new for Jayson Tatum, as he's been doing it since before he entered the NBA. He won his first gold medal back in 2014, playing in FIBA's under-17 world championship. Tatum won gold again a year later, playing for Team USA's under-19 team.

As far as the Olympics go, this will be his second time donning a Team USA uniform. He was part of the 2020 team in Tokyo that managed to secure a gold medal. Based on the collection of talent on this year's team, he's in a good position to add a fourth medal to his collection.
