Basketball fans didn’t hold back, voicing sharp criticism of Steph Curry's underwhelming performance against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. The Golden State Warriors endured their second blowout loss of the season to the Cavaliers, falling 113-95 to the NBA’s top-ranked team at the Chase Center.

Curry struggled throughout the game, delivering a lackluster performance that only added to the Warriors' woes. The four-time NBA champion managed just 11 points on 4 of 11 shooting, including a disappointing 3 of 11 from beyond the arc. He also contributed two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block.

Frustrated fans took to social media to share their candid reactions as Steve Kerr’s team dropped to an even 16-16 record for the season.

Steph Curry enduring an up and down season

Steph Curry, now in his 16th NBA season, has struggled to find consistency for the Golden State Warriors during the 2024-25 campaign. The two-time MVP has endured several underwhelming performances, including six games where he scored fewer than 15 points, highlighted by a rare 2-point outing.

While Curry has showcased flashes of his vintage brilliance, such as his standout performance on Christmas Day against the Lakers, those moments have been sporadic this season.

Through 26 games, the one-time NBA Finals MVP is averaging 22.0 points on 43.7% shooting from the field, including 40.1% from beyond the arc. Additionally, he is contributing 4.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
