Angel Reese and Louisiana State University came out on top as they defeated Iowa at the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament on Sunday. But on Monday First Lady Jill Biden suggested that LSU won't be the only school to be invited to visit the White House, as the Iowa Hawkeyes also received an invite.

Accordingly, fans shared their honest opinion about it.

An exciting tournament ended with Reese and LSU winning it all, beating Caitlin Clark and Iowa in the process 102-85. The 6-foot-3 star even used the same taunts that Clark showed off during the entire tournament.

The First Lady thought about asking her husband, President Joe Biden, to invite the champions and the runner-up to visit the White House. Usually, only champions get invited. But due to Clark's stellar performance, Iowa may get an opportunity to visit the president's house despite not winning the championship.

Due to this, fans shared their reactions on social media regarding Biden's idea. Here are some of the best reactions.

Biden said why she thinks Iowa should be invited to the White House.

"I know we'll have the champions come to the White House; we always do. So, we hope LSU will come," she said. "But, you know, I'm going to tell Joe I think Iowa should come too, because they played such a good game."

The Hawkeyes haven't responded to the invite yet and could decline it to avoid controversy.

Recently, Angel Reese has received a ton of backlash for the way she taunted Clark during the final, but ESPN's Stephen A. Smith defended Reese:

"She [Clark] instigated this kind of stuff. She was waving. She was doing the Cena. How about what she did to Raven Johnson? She didn't just go into the lane and not guard her against South Carolina in the national semifinals, she waved her off. She didn't mind being disrespectful.
"We all know that there's a white-Black issue here. Because the fact of the matter is, when Caitlin did it, people were celebrating it. But then the second the sister stepped up, and threw it back at her face, now you gotta have the basketball world saying, 'Well, you know what, that's not the classiest thing to do.' It was the exact same thing."

"You know what the hell you're doing as people when you wanna bring up how Angel Reese acted but you don't wanna bring up how Caitlin Clark acted. That's the inconsistency."
