The OKC Thunder look to go 15 unbeaten against the Portland Trail Blazers when the two Western Conference teams face off on Sunday’s lone NBA matchup. The Thunder currently occupy the top spot in the Western Conference, aiming to bounce back after a 115-121 loss against the Mavericks. Meanwhile, the Blazers are enjoying a mini-revival after dreadful months and are now riding on a four-game winning streak.

This game stands out as an excellent chance for the Blazers to win against the Thunder for the first time in four years. Unfortunately, Oklahoma City has a 16-5 record on the road compared to the host's 9-12 home record this season; hence, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander & Co. will not make life easy for their opponents on Sunday.

OKC Thunder Injury report: Latest on Isaiah Hartenstein, Chet Holmgren and Luguentz Dort's status

The Thunder coach, Mark Daigneault, has managed to keep the team on the top amid an injury crisis that has seen some of his best players sidelined, including Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein and Alex Caruso.

Holmgren missed more than 30 games and is expected to miss at least the next five weeks before being re-evaluated. Meanwhile, Hartenstein and Caruso have been sidelined for nearly 20 contests each. Hartenstein is due to return tonight after missing the team’s last five games due to a left soleus (calf) strain.

The other name ruled out ahead of this clash is guard Lu Dort due to right knee soreness. The severity of his injury remains unknown, but with the Thunder gearing up for big games in the coming weeks, they could use Dort's availability.

Dort’s absence means players like Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe, and Alex Caruso are expected to play more minutes.
