The OKC Thunder dominated the New York Knicks from start to finish to win 126-101 on Friday. Oklahoma got off to a fast start, leading 31-17 after one quarter and never looked back. Isaiah Joe gave the Thunder a big lift by pouring 23 of his 31 points in the first half. He hit 11 of 16 shots, including 8 of 11 from behind the arc.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander orchestrated the offense and scored 39 points with three rebounds and two assists. Jalen Williams contributed 19 points, five assists, four rebounds, two blocks and one steal.

Jalen Brunson scattered 15 of his 27 points in the first half to lead the Knicks. Karl-Anthony Towns backed him up with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Mikal Bridges was repeatedly booed by the home crowd after failing to score in the game. He went 0-for-9, including 0-for-7 from deep.

OKC Thunder vs New York Knicks Game Summary

The OKC Thunder continued a four-game road swing on Friday with a matchup against the New York Knicks. Oklahoma looked to bounce back after opening its road schedule with a 129-122 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

The first quarter was a showdown between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Brunson. SGA had 13 points and three rebounds in the period. Oklahoma ended the period with a 15-2 blast to take a 31-17 lead.

Jalen Brunson carried the Knicks with nine points, while Josh Hard added six. The Knicks had trouble scoring against the Thunder's top-ranked defense.
