After finishing last season fifth in the Eastern Conference, the Orlando Magic will look to keep the momentum rolling in the NBA Summer League. This will give them a chance to give some of their younger prospects an extended opportunity to sharpen their skills.
Over the past few years, the Magic have built one of the NBA's most promising young cores. It is headlined by All-Star-level talents Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner. While the team has started taking a step forward in their rebuild, they still have multiple promising young talents.
Banchero and Wagner's days in the Summer League may be over, but the Magic still have a handful of players they'll be keeping their eyes on in the coming weeks.

Orlando Magic's Summer League Roster
On Friday, the Orlando Magic announced the pool of players who will be suiting up for them in the Summer League. The group is headlined by their first-round picks from the 2023 draft, Anthony Black and Jett Howard. Tristan da Silva, who Orlando drafted No. 18 overall this year, will also be in action.
Looking further down the roster, the Magic are taking a chance on a handful of players who have a decent amount of NBA experience. Among those is Jarrett Culver, who was drafted sixth overall in 2019. Over the past five years, he's had runs with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Memphis Grizzlies and Atlanta Hawks.
Another one of the more experienced players on Orlando's Summer League roster is Theo Maledon. Since being selected in the second round of the 2020 draft, he's played for the OKC Thunder, Charlotte Hornets and Phoenix Suns.
The final notable name is fringe NBA player Charlie Brown Jr. After being a standout performer in the G-League for some time, multiple teams have taken a flier on him. Among those to do so are the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks.
