The Orlando Magic outlasted the Philadelphia 76ers 104-99 in their Sunday matchup at the Kia Center. Cole Anthony led the way for the Magic, finishing with 27 points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals. Anthony humorously explained how he got out of his slump after the game.

Speaking to the Magic postgame crew, Anthony, who is in the first year of a three-year, $39.1 million deal with Orlando, was asked about the adjustments he made to break out of his shooting struggles. Anthony compared it to how he approaches women, implying that it’s all about being nice to the ball, which he referred to as "Mrs. Wilson."

"You see, with women, you can't always be aggressive," Anthony said. "Sometimes you gotta talk to them nicely, and I wasn’t talking nicely enough to Mrs. Wilson. I started trying to be nicer to her, and she started reciprocating her feelings right back to me. Shout out to her."

Cole Anthony added that he felt things changed when he started seeing the ball go through the hoop. He was huge for the Orlando Magic, considering the number of injuries they’ve had this season. He’s getting the opportunity with Jalen Suggs still out with a lower back strain.

Anthony has now scored in double figures in five straight games. He received plenty of help against the Philadelphia 76ers, as Paolo Banchero had 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Jonathan Isaac dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

Anthony Black filled in for Tristan Da Silva, who only played a minute due to illness. Black finished with 17 points, six rebounds and six assists. It was Orlando's 23rd win of the season but just their fourth in their last 10 games.

Injuries have stalled the Magic’s momentum, but Banchero’s return gave them a much-needed boost. They are still fourth in the Eastern Conference standings, ahead of the Indiana Pacers, Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat.

The Orlando Magic had an impressive start to the season but were hampered by an injury to star player Paolo Banchero. It allowed Franz Wagner to carry the team and keep them competitive before suffering an injury of his own.

Coach Jamahl Mosley had no choice but to motivate his team to keep playing with the "next man up" mentality. Rookie Tristan Da Silva, Jonathan Isaac and Anthony Black were next in line.

Goga Bitadze has cemented himself as the man in the middle, while Wendell Carter Jr. received more opportunities after Moritz Wagner went down with a knee injury. Jalen Suggs was the next star player to go down, with Cole Anthony staying ready.

With Banchero’s return, the Magic should remain one of the top teams in the East. Wagner should be ready to come back soon as well, while there’s no clear timetable for Suggs’ return. To make matters worse, Da Silva and Bitadze suffered injuries on Sunday.
