The Jimmy Butler-Miami Heat saga continues after the player was suspended again for two games. The swingman is trying to force Pat Riley's hand before the Feb. 6 trade deadline strikes, but so far, nothing has happened regarding a potential trade.

Meanwhile, while the Heat are on a two-game road trip, Butler was recorded exchanging words with another man at the Reserve Padel Club. A short video shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday shows Butler in a heated exchange with another person while others tried to cool off the situation.

The video sparked plenty of reactions from fans, with some joking (or not) about Pat Riley's involvement in the situation.

Others criticized how Jimmy Butler carried himself during this time while asking for another suspension.

"Cmon Pat, suspend him again do it," one fan said.

One fan showed support for Butler amid all the negative comments going his way.

"A lot of garbage emotional people in Miami that feel entitled to judge & throw stones at others from inside their glass homes. Sad they think they can just roll up on people bc they are athletes and you’re on “my team” & I “pay” to watch you play. Go yell at Micky & Riley," one fan wrote.

It's unclear when this incident happened, but seeing that Satou Sabally shared an Instagram story with Butler, soccer star Paul Pogba and others, calling them her "Paddel Squad," it's easy to assume it happened Thursday night.

Why was Jimmy Butler suspended again?

On Tuesday, the Miami Heat suspended Jimmy Butler again after only three games back with the team. Ahead of the Heat's duel with the Bucks on Wednesday, Butler missed the flight, leading the organization to suspend him again for two more duels.

The second suspension should be done after tonight's game against the Brooklyn Nets, but perhaps the latest Butler incident grants him more time away from the team. The trade deadline is a couple of weeks away and plenty of teams are trying to upgrade their roster, but there haven't been updates on Butler's sweepstakes.

He made it clear he wanted to find joy in basketball again, and that's not exactly what the video showed.
