Thursday's US Presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden sparked several discussions and reactions on social media, including from some NBA players. Knicks guard Josh Hart and Clippers guard Patrick Beverley shared their perspectives on X regarding the back-and-forth session between the two candidates on live television.

Due to a range of topics featuring abortion, foreign policy, immigration, etc., some were not too pleased with how Trump and Biden handled their responses. Hart and Beverley were not too satisfied with what the two candidates had to say in the debate.

"No one spoke about child care," Beverley tweeted. "That didn't sit right with me. And no one brought it up again to speak about. Golf, and criticizing each other."

Beverley criticized the two presidential candidates for having the time to roast each other on stage while also inserting golf into the discussion instead of further addressing other important issues.

Additionally, the NBA guard also did an Instagram live session of him watching the debate with his girlfriend, Mandana Bolourchi. During his session, he would ask viewers and his fans about their reactions and perspectives as he opened the floor to them.

NBA analyst's reaction to Thursday night's US Presidential debate

Aside from Clippers' Patrick Beverley and Knicks' Josh Hart, NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith also shared his reaction on X, tagging former First Lady of the US Michelle Obama alongside US Vice President Kamala Harris.

"So do ya'll finally want to stop arguing with me about Biden now?" Smith questioned on X. "Have your fears now been confirmed? @MichelleObama. @VP. Somebody. Please help! Biden's team wanted this? His staff, his loved ones... How could you put him out there like that! How could you?"

The "First Take" analyst criticized US President Joe Biden for how he found his performance at the debate to be lackluster. He even questioned his team on the decision to green-lit some of his answers, considering that the debate provided a preview of what voters could expect from him.
