The Philadelphia 76ers are set to face the Indiana Pacers in an all-Eastern Conference matchup on Saturday. The Sixers will be without superstar Joel Embiid for the seventh consecutive game as he has been ruled out against Tyrese Haliburton and the Pacers.

Embiid is dealing with a left knee injury and is expected to remain sidelined for a while longer. According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the one-time league MVP will be reevaluated in 7-10 days.

Coach Nick Nurse expressed his disappointment following the latest update on Embiid, which cast a concerning shadow over the Sixers’ current situation.

"I think we're all disappointed a little bit," Nurse said. "I think that you feel bad for him (Joel Embiid), too.

"I know he's been trying to get out there, and I think he's been playing a lot better and all that stuff, but, yeah, disappointed, I guess is for sure for him and for all of us, but like always, I gotta get the guys that are there, ready to play a game again tomorrow night."

In addition to Joel Embiid, Kyle Lowry has been ruled out of Saturday's game due to a right hip strain. On a more uncertain note, veteran star Paul George is listed as "questionable" with left groin tightness, leaving his availability in doubt.

Guerschon Yabusele is also questionable as he continues to manage a knee injury. The French forward did not participate in the team’s practice on Friday.

Meanwhile, Andre Drummond, dealing with a left toe sprain, is listed as "probable" and is expected to suit up for the Sixers.
