The Milwaukee Bucks beat the stubborn Philadelphia 76ers, who did not have Joel Embiid and Paul George, on Sunday. After leading 30-21 in the first quarter, the Bucks could not blow the game open. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. finally found separation late in the fourth quarter to come out on top 123-109.
Antetokounmpo finished the game with 34 points, 15 rebounds and six assists. Damian Lillard added 25 points, five rebounds, four assists and one steal. Khris Middleton gave the team a lift off the bench with 13 points, eight assists and five rebounds.
Tyrese Maxey led the visitors with a game-high 37 points. 76ers coach Nick Nurse leaned heavily on a makeshift starting unit of Maxey, Eric Gordon, Kelly Oubre Jr., Adem Bona and Ricky Council IV. All the starters scored double figures, but the bench contributed only 20 points.

Philadelphia 76ers vs Milwaukee Bucks Game Summary
The slumping Philadelphia 76ers, losers in their last five games, got another crack at the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Philly hoped to get revenge following its 124-109 defeat at the hands of the Bucks in its season opener.
Without Paul George and Joel Embiid, the 76ers again leaned on Tyrese Maxey to carry them. The point guard had seven points and two assists in the first quarter. Rookie Adem Bona, starting in place of Embiid, had six points and two rebounds. Philly trailed 30-21 after the first quarter.
Giannis Antetokounmpo went to work early, finishing with 12 points and two assists. Khris Middleton came off the bench and contributed four points and three assists.
The 76ers stepped up in the second quarter. They played well on both ends of the floor to stay within striking distance of the Bucks. Milwaukee threatened to turn the game into a rout, but Philly refused to quit. The Bucks still led 59-50 heading into the second half.
The 76ers and the Bucks ended the first quarter with 31 points apiece. Eric Gordon, Ricky Council IV and Kelly Oubre Jr. stepped up to help Tyrese Maxey carry the team. The seldom-used Justin Edwards also gave the Sixers a spark off the bench.
The Bucks put the game away in the fourth quarter behind Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Philadelphia gamely fought but did not have enough to pull off an upset.
