The Charlotte Hornets have lost 10 straight games and will be desperate to break that streak when they take on the Phoenix Suns at Spectrum Center on Tuesday night. With both teams struggling to find wins, this regular-season matchup will be critical as teams approach the midway point of the season.
The Suns and Hornets have both not delivered this season, but there is plenty of star talent on these rosters to turn things around. The Suns boast three of the league's most potent offensive threats in Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal.
For the Hornets, former Rookie of the Year and 2022 All-Star LaMelo Ball has been sensational over the last few months, evolving into one of the NBA's elite scorers.

Phoenix Suns vs Charlotte Hornets Players to Watch
The return of Kevin Durant from an ankle injury has provided a major boost to the Phoenix Suns lineup. The former MVP missed 10 games this season, but has been outstanding over the last three weeks. Durant has led the roster in points in nine of the last 10 games. Over the season, he is averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
LaMelo Ball has been one of the bright spots in an otherwise disappointing 2024-25 campaign for the Charlotte Hornets. The gifted guard has shown that he can carry the offense and continues to put up big numbers week after week.
Ball leads the Hornets roster in points (29.8), assists (7.3) and steals (1.3). His standout performance of the season came against the Milwaukee Buks on Nov. 23 when he finished with a whopping 50 points and chipped in with five rebounds and 10 assists.
