Karl-Anthony Towns’ girlfriend, Jordyn Woods, got her first taste of the New York Knicks’ annual pajama party. Woods shared glimpses of the celebration on her Instagram on Saturday, where she joined the wives and girlfriends of Knicks players who organized it.

The Knicks-themed party featured blue and white balloons in a dimly lit place. Guests were dressed in pajamas, with some even incorporating holiday-themed elements into their outfits.

“Girls Holiday Pajama Party,” Woods captioned in one of her stories.

This was Woods’ first experience at the Knicks' pajama party, as her partner, Karl-Anthony Towns, was acquired by New York in the offseason. The trade sent Julius Randle to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Towns is having a breakout year for the Knicks, averaging 24.5 points, 14.0 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. The seven-foot center has also been shooting the lights up in New York, making 46.1% of his 3-pointers this season (the highest shooting percentage in his career).

Karl-Anthony Towns reflects on his time with the Minnesota Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns returned to Minnesota on Thursday for the first time since being traded to the Knicks. He received a massive ovation from the crowd who had watched him grow from the 2015 No. 1 pick into a perennial All-Star and a key contributor to a playoff contender last season.

In an interview with The Jamestown Sun on Sunday, he said:

“Just because the trade happened doesn’t mean I lost love for them. It was really a nostalgic feeling. ... I just want to be in a place of life where I don’t look at life as glass half empty. I look at it as half full. ... I just appreciate this opportunity to be back in a place I’ve called home and have so many great memories at.
"And to be able to play against so many guys I’ve actually played with. It’s going to be a cool experience. I just want to be appreciative of this moment, enjoy this moment with my family, my teammates, my friends and my brothers on the other side."

The Knicks dominated the Timberwolves, 133-107. Towns made a massive impact for New York, tallying 32 points, 20 rebounds and six assists while shooting 10-of-12 from the field, and a perfect 5-on-5 from the 3-point line.

Towns played nine seasons in Minnesota, helping them reach the Western Conference Finals last year before they were eliminated by the Dallas Mavericks.
