NBA's top prospect Victor Wembanyama has been revealed to be in the cover of the March 2023 issue of Sports Illustrated. His fame has made it possible for him to be pursued by well-established sporting brands. Wemby is also bound to have a featured story about his journey in the NBA.

The 7-foot-3 center is expected to make waves as the league's best prospect in history. His stardom has taken over the NBA, causing them to view the Frenchman's games even though he's not in the league yet. Many expect him to be drafted first overall by whichever team wins the first pick in the NBA lottery.

Can Victor Wembanyama be a solid NBA player?

There are a ton of questions about Victor Wembanyama and his potential to be a franchise-changing player in the NBA. Due to his height and history with injuries, many have raised their concerns as to how he'll keep up with the physicality of the league.

Players who are seven-feet tall usually suffer multiple lower body injuries, often cutting their careers short. In the past, we've seen players like Yao Ming have lower body problems, hindering him from having a long career.

One thing that would probably make Wemby's career better than those before him is how he'll benefit from the modern game. Basketball isn't played inside the pain anymore. All five players on the court are now capable of spreading their defense with their perimeter shooting and having to deal with lesser physicality.

Victor Wembanyama isn't looking like he'll spend a lot of time in the paint. His offensive game focuses more on the perimeter, but he can still take the ball inside and be an effective post player.
