“The funny part is we’ve never talked about doing a podcast together,” McDaniel said to the PEOPLE magazine. “Never. We are very private in our own respected natures. Savannah’s always been very private with her life, and so have I.”
The weekly podcast features the duo talking about a range of life topics, from fun topics like pedicures to serious topics like motherhood. The show also welcomes listeners to call and join in on the conversation.
Savannah James thanks Cleveland Cavaliers for drafting LeBron James
During the season finale episode of her "Everybody's Crazy" podcast, Savannah James thanked the Cleveland Cavaliers for drafting LeBron James in 2003. Savannah highlighted that it was the closest NBA team to their hometown of Akron, Ohio, which allowed the couple to stay closeby and continue their high-school relationship.
"Obviously, LeBron got drafted to Cleveland when we was younger, and I’m from Akron — I’m from 30 minutes down the road — but I don’t know," she said. "If I had to ask him if he was sittin’ here … I think that he would say the same in, like, ‘I don’t know what would have happened.’ So, thanks, Cleveland Cavaliers." [35:00]
LeBron James' wife also shared that it was uncertain if they would've stayed together had the four-time NBA champion been drafted by a different team.
"We’ve talked about this a lot," Savannah added. "So, thanks, guys [Cavs]. But we’ll never know."
LeBron James and Savannah James have been together since they first started dating in high school in 2002, one year before LeBron was drafted by the Cavaliers. After over a decade of being together, the couple got married in 2013. They have three children together, Bronny (19), Bryce (17) and their only daughter, Zhuri (9).
