Fans reacted to Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole botching a highlight-reel play against the Boston Celtics on Sunday. The six-year veteran out of Michigan had the opportunity to complete an impressive play after crossing Celtics sixth man Payton Pritchard midway into the third period of the Wizards' home game.
Poole pointed to the fallen Celtics player after but instead of taking the wide-open 3, he chose to pass the ball instead.

Jordan Poole speaks about the Wizards' struggles
The Washington Wizards are on track to have a losing campaign in the ongoing NBA season. Jordan Poole said that it's tough but they have to face and rise together.
Following their home loss to the Boston Celtics on Sunday, the Wizards are dead-last not only in the Eastern Conference but the entire league.
In an interview with Josh Robbins of The Athletic, Poole spoke about continuing to lose in The District. Now in his second season with the team, he highlighed how despite the tough situation they are in, he remains hopeful of a turnaround in fortunes.
The one-time NBA champion (Golden State - 2022) said:
"All it takes is one thing to bring everything together. But moments like this really show who loves the game, who wants to continue to work, who wants to continue to find ways to get better, who wants to get in the lab, who wants to watch film. So, it definitely tests your character, but we've got really good guys in that locker room."
Poole added:
"Every organization has to go through tough time in order to figure out what the good times are like, if that makes sense. We've got to figure it out. We're building a foundation. We're laying pieces. It's not supposed to be easy."
Jordan Poole arrived in Washington via trade with the Golden State Warriors last year. In his first year with the Wizards, they finished 15-67.
