The Golden State Warriors were able to make a return to the White House in Washington DC after four years. It's always been a tradition for the defending champions to visit the President of the United States to get recognition, which is what the Warriors did after they played against the Washington Wizards yesterday.
The President of the United States, Joe Biden, welcomed the Warriors with open arms as they returned to the White House. When they started their dynasty, the team was often invited by former President Barack Obama to recognize their achievements in the NBA.
POTUS shared how inspirational Golden State has been in the past few years.
"The last couple of years are pretty tough. They struggled in 2020, missed the playoffs in '21 and critics wondered if this team was gone for good, as a championship team."

"But fellows, I know what it feels like," President Biden chuckled. "I've been there. But my dad used to say, 'Joe, get up. Just get up and never give up.'"
The Warriors joined POTUS after they won their road game against the Wizards. Steph Curry was sensational last night as he poured in 41 points and shot 6-15 from the three-point zone. Jordan Poole also became vital to their success last night as he scored 32 points and shot 7-13 from beyond the arc.
With their win, they've improved to 22-22 in the Western Conference. They're slowly climbing up the ranks in terms of their position in their respective conferences. With Curry back, things could flow smoothly for the Warriors. That is, if their star players are able to stay healthy.
The Warriors will face the Boston Celtics on Friday in hopes of improving their record.

Did the Golden State Warriors make a mistake in drafting James Wiseman?
Part of what makes the Golden State Warriors impressive is the fact that they do well in drafting players. Since 2009, the organization has had luck in getting generational talents that have helped them achieve basketball supremacy. One of the players that fans have been waiting on is James Wiseman.
The young bigman hasn't helped his team since entering the league. Given that he's struggling to stay healthy, no one knows when he'll be able to be an effective ball player for the Warriors. He was selected second overall back in 2020, but he hasn't shown enough reason why the team used their pick on him.
Back then, the Warriors could've drafted LaMelo Ball with their pick. But due to the fact that Curry is still actively playing at a high level, it wasn't a logical move to draft and develop a young point guard. It seems as though the front office is starting to regret their decision to draft Wiseman in 2020.
It's up to Golden State whether they want to keep Wiseman or not. For the young bigman, his time with the Warriors might be concluding.
