Miles Bridges' name has been linked to the LA Clippers in this year's offseason reports, and now the Cleveland Cavaliers are taking an interest. NBA insider Marc Stein shared on his "The Stein Line" podcast that a sign-and-trade could happen between Cleveland and Charlotte. However, several NBA fans were split in the latest development.

The Charlotte Hornets forward was selected 12th overall in the 2018 draft and has played in five seasons for the franchise. His reputation has been in question after his domestic violence charges in 2022 and violation of his probation in 2023. Bridges also received a 30-game suspension from the league on April 14, 2023.

Following the report, numerous NBA fans shared their reactions on X (formerly Twitter):

X user E-Man (@WigginsWick22) highlighted how the NBA is willing to look over one's allegations off the court as long as that player is capable of decent production.

"Damn. It just shows if you're a good enough NBA player you can get away with anything. Heck maybe you don't have to be that good because Kevin Porter Jr. just got a contract with the Clippers and he sucks," the fan posted.

Meanwhile, X user Kellzdineroo (@Kellzdineroo3) pointed out that the Cleveland Cavaliers could break into the top three spots in the Eastern Conference.

"He gets us over the top at the 3 spot," the fan posted.

X user Carmelo Anthony Lover (@b0lofhaseeb) argued that the Knicks should look into acquiring Miles Bridges to form an intriguing tandem with Mikal Bridges.

"Knicks need to get grimey for once. Sign this n**** on a one year prove it deal. We need to win the chip. Bridges and Bridges duo would be special," the fan posted.

X user Celtics Nation (@_CelticsNation_) stated the upside in acquiring Bridges given his capabilities on the court.

"Miles Bridges is an amazing addition to any team he goes to, especially the Clippers," the fan posted.

NBA insider reported Clippers are interested in acquiring Miles Bridges from the Hornets

After the Clippers signed Joshua Primo and Kevin Porter Jr., the Los Angeles Times' Broderick Turner reported that people associated with Miles Bridges have expressed interest in joining the LA unit:

"People close to Bridges said that after seeing how Clippers owner Steve Ballmer has been willing to give players second chances, the team would be a great fit for him and that Bridges has learned from his mistakes."

Primo previously got into trouble for sexual misconduct after an incident with San Antonio Spurs psychologist Dr. Hillary Cauthen in December 2021. Meanwhile, Kevin Porter Jr. pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault and harassment in January.

It remains to be seen if the Clippers will land Miles Bridges in the offseason, given his problematic history off the court.
