Earlier this year, LeBron James had the opportunity to play alongside his oldest son in the NBA. As the two continue to make history, the 20-time All-Star gave a special shout-out to his youngest son following his big announcement.
On Wednesday after, Bryce James told the world where he plans on attending for college. He will not be following in Bronny James' footsteps at USC. Instead, the son of the LA Lakers star is heading to Arizona.
Shortly after Bryce announced his decision, LeBron James took to Instagram to congratulate his son. Based on his caption, the NBA star is excited for this next chapter.

Bryce, who is currently a senior at Sierra Canyon, drew interest from multiple schools. The 6-foot-4 guard is a three-star recruit and is ranked in the top 50 at his position in his graduating class.
With this move, Bryce becomes one step closer to potentially joining his father and brother in the NBA. LeBron has stated it's a goal to play in the league with both of his sons. However, to achieve that goal, he'd have to continue playing for a minimum of two more years.
LeBron James' son Bronny makes social media post for Bryce James
LeBron James was not the only person in his family to congratulate Bryce on his college announcement. Bronny James also took to social media to congratulate his brother on this next chapter of his journey.
Bronny posted a screenshot of Bryce's Instagram announcement on X/Twitter. He kept things short and sweet with just a two-work message for future Arizona Wildcat.
LeBron James' oldest son is still navigating his first year in the NBA. After making a handful of appearances with the LA Lakers, the former second-round pick was sent down to the G-League. This was done so with the intent of focusing on the young guard's development out of the spotlight.
This season, Bronny has played in seven games for the South Bay Lakers. His averages currently sit at 14.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists. Bronny has shown some promising flashes in the early weeks of the year, recording 30 points in a game earlier this month.
Over the years, Arizona's basketball program has produced numerous NBA talents. Next year, they'll attempt to develop the youngest son of one of the game's greatest players. If all goes well, Bryce and Bronny could both be in the league somewhere down the road.
