Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic isn't known for dunking but can slam it here and there. Jokic pranked his teammate DeAndre Jordan by postering him via a dunk attempt in practice. It sent some NBA fans into a hilarious frenzy, as Jokic lived up to his "Joker" moniker.

In a video posted on social media, Jokic asked one of the team's camera people to follow him and film something in practice. The three-time MVP then dunked over an unsuspecting Jordan, who ironically is one of the all-time leaders in career dunks.

Jokic barely made the dunk even though he had the appropriate run-up and didn't dribble the ball. He also pushed up on Jordan's shoulder for leverage, but the attempt almost failed. It's a better or worse version of Nate Robinson's prank on Shaquille O'Neal when they were with the Boston Celtics.

Here's the video of the poster from Reddit:

NBA fans hilariously reacted to Nikola Jokic's "poster" on DeAndre Jordan. Some even joked that Jokic should compete in the 2025 NBA Slam Cunk Contest in San Francisco.

"Put him in the dunk contest!," a fan commented.
"Rim grazer dunk package for the best player in the league," one fan wrote.
"He might be even better at vibes than he is at passing," another fan joked.

If a player is nicknamed "The Joker," he has to live it, and the prank on Jordan, who also caught strays in the comments, makes it appropriate.

"DJ's defensive awareness has really slid downhill," a fan quipped.
"That's that 18in average vertical on dunks at its best right there. Lowest in the league, but best in vibes," one fan remarked.
"Slow mo makes it look more impressive somehow," another fan wrote.

Jokic and Jordan have been teammates since 2022, winning a championship together in 2023. Jordan not only serves as a backup center but also a veteran voice in the locker room.

For fans sick and tired of seeing Nikola Jokic winning the MVP, here's some bad news. Jokic is still the favorite to take home the award this season and is ranked first in the NBA's power rankings. He's having a monster season, averaging a triple-double of 29.7 points, 13.1 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game.

Jokic is proving that he's still the best player in the world, dropping numbers better than in his MVP season. One of the obstacles to him is the Denver Nuggets' record of 10-7, though. It's a winning one, but they are outside the top-four in a stacked Western Conference.

The players hoping to dethrone "The Joker" are Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, Anthony Davis of the LA Lakers, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the OKC Thunder.
