Fans were shocked to see Travis Hunter showing off his basketball abilities ahead of the Colorado Buffaloes duel against the Bellarmine Knights. The football team was honored ahead of the Valero Alamo Bowl on Dec. 28, with Shedeur Sanders and Hunter teaming up one more time before their final game with the Buffaloes next weekend.

As usual, Sanders assisted Hunter in making a couple of dunks, turning a lot of heads.

His dunks caught the attention of several fans, who flooded social media with reactions. More fans joined in celebrating Hunter's display, even saying he should change sports thanks to his athleticism.

"Legit though, the NBA All-Star game should have a multi sport dunk contest," one fan said.
"Travis Hunter NBA……??? Why not???? NBA dead, you need viewership!!!!" another fan wrote.
"I’ve seen enough put Travis Hunter in the Dunk Contest @NBA 😂" another fan said.

Others praised his ability on the court and even urged the Colorado two-way star to try his hands at basketball.

"can ball at all levels," one fan said.
"He should suit up," another fan said.

After a terrific season with the Colorado Buffaloes, Travis Hunter won the 2024 Heisman award, surpassing running back Ashton Jeanty and quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and Cam Ward.

Hunter thrived as a wide receiver, catching 92 passes for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns while racking up 31 tackles, 11 passes defended, a forced fumble and four interceptions at cornerback.

Travis Hunter emulated Steph Curry's no-look shot from half-court

Travis seemingly had a lot of fun before this game, as he not only made electrifying dunks but also showed off his range. The cornerback/wide receiver also took a couple of shots alongside Shedeur Sanders and completed a huge one.

A video shows Hunter taking a 3-pointer from half-court and turning around to celebrate even before the ball went through the net. He celebrated like Steph Curry has done in the NBA, turning to the Golden State Warriors or opposing bench to celebrate before his 3-point attempt went in.

Fans went crazy over this shot and insisted that Hunter should play in the NBA. Some recalled that his Colorado head coach Deion Sanders played two sports (baseball and football) as a pro, and he could follow in his footsteps.

Hunter is a terrific athlete who could probably hold his ground in the NBA, but his focus is on a different league.
