The Los Angeles Lakers couldn't keep their foot on the gas. JJ Redick's team faced the Detroit Pistons riding a two-game winning streak, and they were 4.5-point favorites ahead of tip-off.
The Pistons were more physical and efficient on both sides of the court, and it seems like JB Bickerstaff's troops got the Lakers' numbers. They've now beaten them twice this season.
That's why they made the most of the opportunity to brag about that on social media.

Needless to say, it didn't take long before Lakers fans clapped back at them:
"Hang the banner Poverty franchise congrats on your game 7 win," a fan replied.
"Raise your hand if your city got clean water," another one added.
"This is yall championship… beating a 7th seed twice in a season…," a fan tweeted.
"raise your hand if you’ll never sniff the playoffs," a fan told them.
"Raise your hand if you won a title in the last 10-15 years," a fan added.
"Raise your hand if you have the worst crime rate in America," another one chimed in.
JJ Redick blames turnovers for Lakers loss to Pistons
Following the loss, coach Redick seemed livid about the fact that they couldn't follow the game plan. They reportedly knew what the Pistons would do, yet they couldn't do anything about it:
“Yeah, I mean, we knew ahead of time that they were going to shock or blitz at times,” Redick said after the game. “So, I’m not sure why we were so surprised by that.
"Then, a number of them were playing in tight spaces, and a number of them were just dribbling the ball off a foot. Dribbling the ball out of bounds, passing to Malik Beasley so he can make a three. They capitalized every time we made a mistake.”
Redick then talked about the Lakers' turnover issues in the loss:
“I think you have to, certain turnovers, are just, I don’t know what the exact word is. Certain turnovers are unforced. And then there’s what you’re getting at, is sort of the forced turnovers, and what Dan [Woike] was getting at, which is the forced turnovers.
"I think just not trying to play in tight spaces. Draw the crowd. Don’t play in a crowd. Did a lot of playing in crowds today,” Redick added.
The Lakers are now seventh in the Western Conference, and they will look to bounce back on Christmas vs. the Golden State Warriors.
