NBA fans are still not impressed with Bronny James after he had his best Summer League performance to date. James finished with 12 points and finally made a basket from beyond the arc in the LA Lakers' 87-86 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

LeBron James' eldest son had 12 points, one rebound and one steal in 24 minutes of action. Bronny went 5-for-11 from the field, including two 3-point shots made. It has been a struggle for him in the Summer League, but he looked more comfortable out there.

Bronny even hit a clutch shot from three with under four minutes left in the game to tie it at 79. The rest of his teammates picked it up from there with Colin Castleton scoring seven of the last eight points for the Lakers.

Despite playing his best game of the Summer League, some NBA fans are still skeptical of Bronny James' ability to become a contributor for the LA Lakers. They expressed their bemusement at people hyping a 12-point performance.

"We're really hyping up 12 points, dawg. What are we doing?" one fan wrote.
"Mid stats facing a bunch of nobodies," a fan replied.
"And yet still a -10. Worst on the team," another fan shared.

Bronny James certainly improved from his first few games in the Summer League. Nerves were expected given who he is and how got into the LA Lakers. And despite all of that, the 19-year-old guard continues to get hate from his critics and non-Lakers fans:

"12 points on under 50 percent shouldn’t be considered as a bounce back bruh. I'm sorry," one fan commented.
"That's a bounce back??? I guess if you shoot 2/30 before, 5/11 with only 12 points ain't bad," a fan opined.
"One good game and folks acting like Bronny a good player lol none of you casuals watched Bronny in college," another fan remarked.

Bronny James reacts to his solid performance after the game

In his postgame interview, Bronny James reacted to his solid performance for the LA Lakers against the Atlanta Hawks. James admitted that his struggles were not bothering him and it was just a matter of starting fresh every game. He's not even worried about the misses in his previous games:

"I was just trying to forget about all the other shots that I missed. Forget about all the games we lost. I try to play my game and do my best every time I come on the court. That’s what I did tonight and it ended up well," Bronny said.

With a 1-2 record, it's unlikely that the Lakers will make it to the next round of the Summer League. However, they have at least two more games before a long break to prepare for training camp.
