NBA fans couldn't believe what Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen did to a man in a video that has gone viral online, including X, formerly known as Twitter. Pippen playfully choked a fan, with one account claiming that the six-time NBA champion tried to steal the man's girlfriend.
In a post on X, @DailyLoud shared a video of Pippen jokingly putting his hands on a man's throat. The basketball great claimed that it was an "unfiltered" version of him.
"Scottie Pippen tried to steal this guy’s girl, then he choked him," the page tweeted.

While some fans found the video funny and nothing serious, others were just baffled by Scottie Pippen's behavior. They just went in on the Chicago Bulls legend, bringing up his ex-wife Larsa Pippen and her relationship with Michael Jordan's son Marcus.
"There is a reason why Larsa left him and went to Jordan's kid," a fan tweeted.
"Lucky that wasn't me .... Officer my neck hurts ... I need 700k in return," one fan joked.
"Maybe next time Pippen should stick to basketball, not love triangles," another fan commented.
More fans commented on Scottie Pippen's unusual encounter.
"He was too high and thought it was Michael B Jordan," one fan wrote, referencing the actor who has a similar name to Pippen's former teammate.
"Did he just stand there and let Pippen grab his throat like that? another fan asked.
"Pippen is a dirt ball. One of My favorites as a kid but now he’s just acting like he’s 18," another fan remarked.
In addition to his crypto, Scottie was making headlines after his ex-wife Larsa Pippen began a relationship with Marcus Jordan. Scottie and Marcus' father, Michael Jordan, won six NBA championships together.
It's more awkward since Scottie has been taking shots at MJ after the release of The Last Dance documentary, seemingly having a fallout beyond repair.
Scottie Pippen gives a different take on 'The Last Dance'
After The Last Dance was released on Netflix during the COVID-19 pandemic, it became an instant hint among basketball fans. However, Scottie Pippen was not happy with the docuseries, leading to a fallout with Michael Jordan.
Fast forward to four years later, Pippen seemingly changed his opinion about The Last Dance during an appearance at the Real-World Asset Summit in New York City last October.
From 7:29 onward:
"I thought it was very positive," Pippen said. "I felt, at that time, we needed something positive and good to watch on TV. I felt the documentary was great; I didn't have anything to do with it, which I was a little disappointed in, but it was a great documentary, and it won some awards."
While Pippen didn't mention Jordan, it could be the potential start to reconciliation between the greatest duo in NBA history.
