Reed Sheppard and the Houston Rockets took on the LA Clippers on Sunday night. In Sheppard's previous outing against the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, he added seven points, three rebounds and two blocks in 13 minutes of play. The Rockets couldn't come up with a win as the Warriors handed them their second-straight loss.
Up against the Clippers, Reed Sheppard didn't play in the first quarter. Jalen Green took charge for the Rockets in the opening period after scoring 11 points. Sheppard then played in the second quarter but couldn't get a shot to go. He played for a little over four minutes and only took one shot attempt.
The Rockets and the Clippers ended the first half with a 64-50 finish, in favor of Houston. Green contributed seven more points with the help of Dillon Brooks who else notched double figures by the end of the half 14 first-half points.
Come the third quarter, Reed Sheppard didn’t check back in. Jalen Green continued to carry the Houston Rockets to a 95-83 third-quarter lead. Assisting him this time on offense was Amen Thompson, who became the only other player in the Rockets squad to hit 20 points by the end of the period. Ultimately, the Rockets came out on top with a 117-106 finish.

The rookie Sheppard got to play six more minutes in the final period but missed all two of his shot attempts. Green took care of business for Houston as he led his crew with 31 points.

The LA Clippers hosted the Houston Rockets on Sunday night. Houston was able to snap their two-game losing streak as they came out victorious in LA with a 117-106 finish. Jalen Green played a huge role for the Rockets on Sunday as he led his team throughout the game.
Green added 31 points and four rebounds. Amen Thompson, who had an all-around performance, helped Green take out the Clippers. Thompson put up 22 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block. Two other Rockets players had double-double performances.
These were namely Jabari Smith Jr. and Alperen Sengun. Smith Jr. had the highest double-double outing with 13 points and 13 rebounds. Sengun, on the other hand, put up 11 points and 10 rebounds.
