It was a remarkable turnaround for the Bulls. The team finished 31-41 just a year earlier. They finished 46-36 for the 2021-22 season but looked to have plenty of room to grow if not for injuries. According to a recent report from NBA insider Shams Charania of "The Athletic," it appears as if Billy Donovan was given an extension prior to the 2022-23 season.
Donovan reportedly had two more years remaining on his original four-year contract. According to the report from Charania, the new contract is for "several more years."
