Since breaking the all-time scoring record, LeBron James has missed the past three games due to injury. It appears this might have been caused by head coach Darvin Ham.

During a recent appearance on "The Hoop Collective" podcast, ESPN's Dave McMenamin said people around the LA Lakers are frustrated with Ham because of how he's used LeBron. Apparently, Ham was having James play 40+ minutes despite knowing he was dealing with an injury.

"38-years-old, 20th season, 40-plus minutes on the regular. Some of the people I speak to, around the team let's put it that way, were like 'what are we doing here? Playing him 40 minutes again? We're going to run him into the ground."'
"It's not the minutes, it's the minutes while a player is dealing with something."
