LeBron James’ scoring record is one of his most impressive achievements. In his previous game, the LA Lakers forward surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to get to the top of the NBA's all-time scoring list.

According to Mike Vorkunov, James’ scoring record will be honored at halftime of the 2023 All-Star Game, which is just around the corner. It will take place on Sunday, Feb. 19, at Vivint Arena, the home of the Utah Jazz. The game will feature some of the best players in the league, including LeBron.

Once again, the Lakers forward has received the most fan votes. Due to this, he will be the captain of an All-Star team and will draft players one hour before the game starts.

Vin Diesel, a popular actor, will do player intros for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, while Post Malone will perform right before tip-off. The rapper's performance will most likely come after the All-Star Draft.

A few more artists will perform at halftime, including Burna Boy, Tems and Rema.

Will LeBron James' scoring record be broken soon?

LeBron James’ scoring record won't be broken anytime soon. The closest active player is Carmelo Anthony, who needs more than 10,000 points to catch up with the Lakers superstar.

Kevin Durant is currently ranked 14th on the all-time list. However, he is 34 and may not even cross the 30,000-point mark due to injuries.
