The Sacramento Kings visited the LA Lakers at the Crypto.com Arena on Saturday night. It was the fourth and final matchup of the season between the two teams, with the Lakers to sweep the series for the first time since the 2009-10 NBA season. It's also the first game for Doug Christie as the Kings' interim head coach.
The home team was also at a disadvantage with LeBron James ruled out with an illness. James has been playing fantastic for the Lakers in his last five games after taking a two-game break from Dec. 8 to 13. Anthony Davis had to shoulder the load for the team against De'Aaron Fox and company.
At the end of the day, no LeBron, no problem for the Lakers with AD carrying them to a 132-122 win. Davis finished with 36 points, 15 rebounds and eight assists, while Austin Reaves contributed 26 points, six rebounds and 16 assists.

Sacramento Kings vs LA Lakers Game Summary
In the first quarter, Austin Reaves opened the scoring by making a shot from beyond the arc. It turned into a back-and-forth affair until the final two minutes of the period when the LA Lakers went on a huge run and built an 11-point lead. They had a 40-31 advantage after the first 12 minutes.
The Lakers tried taking control of the game in the first four minutes of the second quarter, but the Kings were not letting things get out of hand. The Sacramento Kings did endure some problems after Domantas Sabonis was called for his third foul with four minutes remaining at the half.
AD was feasting on Sabonis all game, so the Kings had to rely on Alex Len to slow him down. DeMar DeRozan and De'Aaron Fox kept their team afloat until they took a 66-65 advantage at halftime.
In the third quarter, the LA Lakers took over and built a huge lead by outscoring the Sacramento Kings 42-24. The Kings' defense was almost non-existent as the Lakers were able to do whatever they wanted. It was like they were still playing under coach Mike Brown, who they fired on Friday.
Interim coach Doug Christie did his best to motivate his team, with the Kings trimming the lead to eight points midway through the fourth quarter. However, they inexplicably slowed the game, which allowed the Lakers to gather their defense and hold on for the 132-122 victory.
