NBA fans still remember when Draymond Green punched his former teammate, Jordan Poole. When Green said on the "Point Game Podcast" that team owner Joe Lacob views him as Steve Kerr's replacement with the Warriors, the fans couldn’t stop mocking the Golden State Warriors star.

In a conversation with NBA player John Wall, Green said that the Warriors owner views him as the future coach of the team.

"I’m honored man with the conversations I’ve had with Joe Lacob over the years, and him saying to me like, 'when you’re done, I could see you one day coaching this team when Steve’s done, like I could see you working with this team. Like I would love to see that,'” Green said.

Fans trolled the four-time NBA champion on social media, mostly alluding to his violent history. Green had punched Jordan Poole when he was still with the Warriors. Alluding to the incident, fans said that Green was the same person who knocked on his teammate.

"This is the same man who who punched his teammate in the face at practice," a fan said.

"the same Draymond that knocked out his own teammate?" another fan wrote.
"You sure he wasn't talking about boxing coach?" asked another fan.

Draymond Green has a history of receiving fines and ejections. Some joked that, given his history of being fined and dismissed, he would set similar records as a coach.

Another fan wrote, "Bro finna be the first coach to fight at least one player from each team."
"That guy would get the most technicals/ejections in one season for a head coach in the history of basketball," a fan wrote.

However, some fans didn't think that Draymond Green coaching the Warriors was such an absurd idea.

"idk why people think this is some absurd awful idea, he knows the organization and has a very very high basketball iq. just gotta keep that temper in check lol." a fan wrote.
"Green would make a great coach," wrote another fan.

Kenny Smith roasts Draymond Green with “flagrant” middle name

With five minutes remaining in the third quarter, Karl-Anthony Towns was called for an offensive foul after he hit PJ Washington with his elbow. Charles Barkley was debating Kenny Smith, saying that it should have been a flagrant foul for hitting the player in the face.

Draymond Green, who was also on NBA on TNT, sided with Barkley and said that it should have been a flagrant foul. Smith, who thought that Towns was in the natural shooting motion, was quick to roast the four-time NBA champion.

"your middle name is flagrant,” Smith said.

Draymond Green doesn’t have a good resume when it comes to fouls, especially flagrant fouls.

Last year, he was suspended by the NBA for 17 games in total. He was punished for non-basketball plays when he hit Phoenix Suns player Jusuf Nurkic in the face. He also faced suspension after he put Rudy Gobert in a chokehold.
